1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the Spirograph Alpha mobile application (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect information that personally identifies you. Specifically:

  • No sign-up data: no name, email, phone number, or login is required to use the App.
  • Your artwork stays local: the spirograph designs and projects you create are saved on your device, not on our servers.
  • Advertising & diagnostics: our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may automatically collect limited technical and device data to serve and measure ads (see below).

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays banner advertisements using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process information such as:

  • A device advertising identifier (e.g., Google Advertising ID);
  • General device information (device model, operating system, language, and similar);
  • Coarse, non-precise usage and interaction data related to ads.

You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising ID at any time in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads (Android) or the equivalent on your platform.

4. On-device data & storage

Designs, saved projects, and app preferences (such as your light/dark theme choice) are stored locally on your device using the platform’s standard storage. This information is removed when you delete the relevant designs or uninstall the App. We do not upload this content to us.

5. Permissions

The App requests only the permissions it needs to function, which may include:

  • Internet access: required to load advertisements.
  • Storage / media (if applicable): used only when you choose to export or save an image of your artwork to your device.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age required by the laws of your jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

7. Your choices

  • Reset or limit ad tracking via your device’s advertising settings.
  • Delete your saved designs within the App at any time.
  • Uninstall the App to remove locally stored data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
